G-SAG International Training workshop
Application of Geospatial Techniques in Hydrology
6-8 June 2022

An international training workshop was organized from 6-8 June 2022 with the title “Application of Geospatial Techniques in Hydrology” (Brochure in Figure 1) by the GIS and Space Applications in Geosciences (GSAG), National Centre of Excellence in Geology, University of Peshawar in partnership with the Soil and Water conservation Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. The workshop was organized at the R. A. K. Tahir Kheli, Auditorium of the National Centre of Excellence in Geology. The workshop was attended by around 35 participants mainly the postgraduate students from academia and on-job professionals (Table 1). The resource persons for the workshop were mainly the project PI, Co-PI, and some national and foreign professors. The schedule of the workshop (Table 2) was focused on the research activities of the project and to train the participants through hand on practices. The workshop lectures were well received by the participants with lively discussion and sharing of knowledge and experiences. Some of the photos of the workshop are given in the figures below:
