3rd semester (Approval of courses shall not be later

Approval of supervisor

Preferably at the time of admission (The approval of
supervisor shall not be later than 3rd semester).

Approval of Research topic from (GSC,
ASRB-sub-committee  and ASRB)

Proposal to the ASRB Sub-committee shall not be
submitted later than 4th  semester

6

Thesis submission

Consequent upon approval of research proposal
from the ASRB, the scholar shall work on thesis at least one semester.

  1. 2-3 semesters (the  completion of the  course work

shall not be later than first three semesters for the scholars admitted on the basis of MS/MPhil/LLM degree

  1. 4-6 semesters (the completion of course work shall not be later than first six semesters for the scholars admitted on the basis of BS/Master degrees

3

Approval of supervisor

Preferably at the time of admission. The approval of
supervisor should not be later than 4th  semester

4

Comprehensive Exam

  1. The Head/GSA shall arrange the comprehensive

exam within three months from the date of completion of the coursework.

  1. the second comprehensive examination shall be held within three months of the first comprehensive examination (as per regulations)

5

Approval of Research topic from (GSC,
ASRB)

  1. The topic to the ASRB shall not be submitted later

than 5th semester for the scholars enrolled on the basis of MS/MPhil/LLM degrees

  1. The topic to the ASRB shall not be submitted later than 7th semester for the scholars enrolled on the basis

of BS, Master degrees

6

Thesis submission

The thesis would be submitted by the scholar after
conducting one year research after  approval of ASRB. The thesis before the due date shall not be accepted.
