Report of the G-SAG Training workshop
Mineral deposits of Pakistan: Mapping/Exploration Techniques and Policy Guidelines

An international training workshop was arranged on 26th June 2022 entitled“Mineral deposits of Pakistan: Mapping/Exploration Techniques and Policy Guidelines” (Brochure in Figure 1), organized by the GIS and Space Applications in Geosciences Laboratory (GSAGL), National Centre of Excellence in Geology, University of Peshawar. The workshop was organized at the Baragali summer campus University of Peshawar. It was attended by around 60 participants mainly the postgraduate students from academia and on-job professionals. The resource persons for the workshop were mainly the project Co-PI and some professors and professionals from other academia and organizations respectively. The workshop lectures were well received by the participants with lively discussion and sharing of knowledge and experiences. Some of the photos of the workshop are given in the figures below:
