GSAG TRAINING WORKSHOP ON
GIS/Remote Sensing Techniques in Geology
(10th to 12th Nov, 2021)

University of Peshawar.
A training workshop was organized from 10-12 November 2021 with the title “GIS/Remote Sensing in Techniques in Geology” (Brochure in Figure 1). The workshop was organized at the R. A. K. Tahir Kheli, Auditorium of the National Centre of Excellence in Geology. The workshop was attended by 15 participants mainly the postgraduate students from academia and on-job professionals (Table 1). The resources persons for the workshop were mainly the project PI, Co-PI and some foreign professors. The schedule of the workshop (Table 2) was focused on the research activities of the project and to train the participants through hand on practices. The workshop lectures were well received by the participants with lively discussion and sharing knowledge and experiences. Some of the photos of the workshop are given in figures below
