RESEARCH PROJECTS
Completed and are under completion of various projects funded by the NCE in Geology, Higher Education Commission, Pakistan Science Foundation, USAID and National Science Foundation (USA). These projects include the petrography and geochemistry of rocks, rocks and minerals economics, exploration and devolvement projects such as base and precious metals geochemical exploration, the genesis of lead-zinc-copper massive sulfides and manganese deposits, characterization of limestone, marble and granite for use as construction material and dimension stones, mineralogy and geochemistry of the gemstones and gemstone-bearing pegmatite and environmental assessment of ore deposits and rocks and related waters, soils and plants.
DEGREES EARNED BY STUDENTS UNDER DIRECT SUPERVISION
42 M. Phil., and 16 Ph.D., scholars have completed their degrees under the direct supervision.

Have organized or remained as member of the organizing committee of several conferences, Symposia, Seminars and short courses under the auspices of the NCE in Geology, University of Peshawar and Higher Education Commission, Pakistan.

Delivered lectures in various Universities in USA, UK and in Pakistan. Also delivered talks and chaired technical sessions in many conferences held at USA, UK, Austria, China, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Afghanistan, Italy, Thailand, Malaysia and Pakistan (Islamabad, Lahore, Karachi, Hyderabad and Peshawar).
