NSF Joint Project with Oregon State University-California State University, North Ridge on Neotectonics & Paleoseismology of Pakistan Himalayas. 2009-2011.

NSF Joint Project with University of Colorado, Boulder (Professor Roger Bilham P.I.), University of Montana (Dr. Rebecca Bendick) on Seismic Hazards, Earthquake Seismology, GPS Geodesy. 2005-2012.

Earthquake Model of Middle East Region (EMME). 2010-2011. This is an international collaborative project aimed at developing a Seismic Hazard Zonation Map of Middle East. Twelve countries involved include Turkey, Iran, Afghanistan, Pakistan, Azerbaijan, Armenia, Georgia, Iraq, Syria, Jordan and Lebanon. National Disaster Management Authority invited Professor M. Asif Khan from NCEG to be Country Representative from Pakistan for Work Plans I and II. WP I involves developing an Earthquake Catlogue for the region, while WP II involves developing an Active Fault Map, with a database listing all the fault parameters (strike, dip, seismogenic depth, kinematics, activity rates etc).
