Journal Of Himalayan Earth Sciences (JHES)
Journal Policy:
- An academic editorial board (or equivalent), comprising members with PhD degrees in relevant fields (i.e., area of publication) and a strong research and publications background.
- Editors or editorial team members are not allowed to publish in the JHES.
- The JHES does not publish 1/5th of the total articles in an issue with affiliations from the University of Peshawar, Pakistan.
- The Journal of Himalayan Earth Sciences is a HEC-recognized journal indexed by Scopus and Web of Science. The Journal of Himalayan Earth Sciences is a bi-annual journal, published in March and November. The Journal follows a double blind review policy for reviewing the research articles.
- It reviews the articles from one local and one international expert in the relevant field. The journal strictly follows the Similarity Index (SI) limit set by the HEC, i.e., <19%.
- The journal charges an amount of 5000/- PKR as a processing fee and 5000/- PKR as a publication fee. The journal demands a plagiarism certificate from the authors's that the manuscript has not been published or under consideration elsewhere.
- Upon acceptance of the manuscript, the journal also demands the authors' contribution, defining the contribution of each author in the manuscript.
