Applications are invited for the following positions in the “GIS & Space Applications in Geosciences (G-SAG)” laboratory at the NCE in Geology, University of Peshawar, with the partnership of Shaheed Benazir Bhutto University (SBBU), Sheringal under the HEC PC-1 approved project “Establishment of National Center of GIS and Space Applications (NCGSA)”. The positions are purely on a contract basis for 3 years.

Terms and conditions
- All the selected Research Assistants and Ph.D. students are required to complete their Ph.D. in the relevant field at the NCEG under the supervision of the lab team. Preference shall be given to the existing Ph.D. students in NCEG.
- All the positions are on a yearly contract basis for three years, and the yearly contract will be renewed based on the performance.
- Preference will be given to the candidates having Higher/Additional qualifications/PGD in GIS/RS, experience and research publications.
- The same advertisement would be used until all the positions are filled.
- The selected candidates would not have the right to be appointed on permanent basis.
- A bank draft/receipt of Rs.500 for Serial No. 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 and Rs.300 for 6, 7, 8 must be attached in original with the application in favor of Lab. Director G-SAG, NCE in Geology, University of Peshawar.
