Qualifications:

Ph.D. preferably in the relevant field from an HEC recognized and reputable institution.

iii)

Experience:

11-years post-Ph.D./Relevant terminal degree or minimum of 7-years of post-PhD experience with at least 12 years of experience prior to the PhD. The experience to be counted is to be of teaching/research in a recognized University or a post-graduate Institution or professional experience in the relevant field in a National or International Organization.

iv)

Publications:

15 research publications (with at least 5 publications in the past 5 years) in Internationally abstracted Journals, recognized for the purpose of appointment on Tenure Track by the HEC.

Associate Professor (BPS-20/TTS)

i)

Discipline

Geology, Geophysics, Geospatial Science (Geohazards), Environmental Geosciences (soil science or environmental science)

ii)

Qualifications:

Ph.D. in the relevant field from an HEC recognized university/institution.

iii)

Experience:

10-years teaching/research experience in an HEC recognized University or a post-graduate institution or Professional experience in the relevant field in a National or International Organization                   OR
5-years post-Ph.D. teaching/research experience in an HEC recognized University or a Post-Graduate institution or professional experience in the relevant field in a National or International Organization.
In case of TTS, 6-years Post-PhD experience is required.

iv)

Publications:

10 research publications (with at least 4 publications in last 5 years) in the HEC recognized journals.
In case of TTS, 10 publications with at-least 04 publications in the past 05 years in HEC approved journal with ISI impact factor.

Assistant Professor (BPS-19/TTS)

Disciplines:

Geology , Geophysics, Environmental Geosciences

ii)

Qualification:

Ph.D. in the relevant field from HEC recognized University/Institution. OR
Masters Degree (Foreign) or M.Phil. (Pakistan) or equivalent degrees awarded after 18 years of education as determined by the HEC in the relevant field from an HEC recognized University/Institution with 04 years teaching/research in HEC recognized university or a post graduate institution or professional experience in the relevant field in a National or International organization.
In case of TTS, Ph.D. from a recognized university/institution in the relevant field with excellent written & communication skills.

Research Associate (BPS-18)

Disciplines:

Qualifications:

First Class Master’s Degree/ B.S (04 years) OR equivalent degree awarded after 16 years of education in the relevant field from an HEC recognized University/Institution with no 3rd division in the academic career.
