National Center of Excellence in Geology (NCEG) Peshawar and Khushal Khan Khattak University Karak Sign MoU to Strengthen Academic and Research Collaboration

The National Center of Excellence in Geology (NCEG), University of Peshawar, and Khushal Khan Khattak University Karak (KKKUK) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) aimed at enhancing academic cooperation, fostering joint research, and creating new opportunities for students and faculty of both institutions. The MoU was formally signed by Prof. Dr. Muhammad Tahir Khalily, Vice Chancellor, Khushal Khan Khattak University Karak, and Prof. Dr. Liaqat Ali, Director, National Center of Excellence in Geology Peshawar. Under the agreement, both institutions will collaborate in several key areas, including Joint research initiatives and collaborative academic projects, Internship opportunities for students, Facilitation in research publications for students and faculty, Collaborative field trips and geological surveys, Organization of joint seminars, workshops, and academic events. The ceremony was graced by the presence of Prof. Dr. Johar Ali, Vice Chancellor, University of Peshawar, Mr. Athar Bangash, Director Planning & Development, University of Peshawar; Prof. Dr. Khalid Latif; and Dr. Saad Khan, along with faculty members of NCEG. The Vice Chancellor of Khushal Khan Khattak University Karak was accompanied by Mr. Abdus Salam, Director ORIC, Dr. Nazir Ur Rehman, HoD Geology, Dr Ghani Ur Rehman and Mr. Shabeer Ullah Khattak. Both sides expressed their commitment to strengthening academic cooperation, advancing geological research, and creating a supportive environment for student and faculty development. The ceremony concluded with mutual appreciation for the collaborative efforts that made the MoU possible.
