Introduction:

The National Centre of Excellence in Geology (NCEG) University of Peshawar, in collaboration with University of Swabi is organizing a one day conference on the sustainable utilization of natural resources. This conference will bring together all those scientists/engineers/planners who have been actively involved in the development of natural resources in the country. An abstract volume will be published that will not only serve as a unique source of scientific data on natural resources, but will also highlight different ongoing developmental programs in these regions. Young scientists are encouraged to participate in the conference.
