1st Professional Training Program Summer 2025
June 30, 2025 – The National Centre of Excellence in Geology (NCEG) successfully concluded its 1st Professional Training Program – Summer 2025 with a certificate distribution ceremony for participants.
The month-long training program, titled “Integrated Geospatial, Geochemical, and Geophysical Techniques for Mineral Exploration,” was held from June 1 to June 30, 2025, and brought together 25 participants, including students and professionals. The program aimed to enhance the skills of geoscience graduates and improve their employability by providing hands-on training in modern exploration techniques and field experience.
Throughout the training, participants gained expertise in geospatial, geochemical, and geophysical methods for mineral exploration. They also engaged in fieldwork and visited active mining sites across Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, gaining practical exposure to real-world applications.
The program was conducted by qualified NCEG faculty and staff, utilizing the centre’s state-of-the-art laboratories and field facilities.
