1st Professional Training Program Summer 2025

In response to the growing demands of the mineral industry in Pakistan and internationally, the Director NCE in Geology is pleased to launch a 1-3 month professional training program w.e.f. June to Aug, 2025. This initiative aims to enhance the skills of graduates and increase the employability of Geology / Geoscience graduates across Khyber Pakhtunkhwa by equipping them with modern exploration techniques and practical field experience.

Course Title: Integrated Geospatial, Geochemical and Geophysical Techniques for Mineral Exploration

Program Features:

• Interactive physical classes at NCEG led by industry experts and academic professionals.
• Field visits to active mining sites and industry for on-ground geospatial (drone, GPS/dGPS, spectroradiometer etc.), geophysical (IP, GPR, Magnetic Survey etc.) and geochemical surveys (XRD/XRF, SEM, ICPMS, AAS, etc).
• Hands-on lab work in NCEG’s state-of-the-art laboratories (Gemology, Geochemistry, Geophysics, GIS/RS).
• Result oriented practical training in integrated geospatial, geophysical, and geochemical techniques tailored to modern exploration challenges.
• Direct engagement with professionals from both academia and the mineral industry, providing valuable networking opportunities.
