The Project Director of HEC approved PC-1 project “Strengthening of NCE in Geology, University of Peshawar” invites sealed bids on above & below basis for Remaining External Works from eligible contractor in accordance with Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) in relevant category and field of specialization.

Terms & Conditions:

1. The Bid documents can be purchased from the office of undersigned in working hours on cash payment of Rs.2000/- (Non Refundable) up to May 02nd  , 2017. The tender documents will be issued to main owner of the firm. No tender will be issued on the date of opening.

  1. 2. The earnest money @ of 2% of bid cost amount in shape of CDR/pay order/demand draft  in favour of Director-NCEG, University of Peshawar from any scheduled bank along with the bid. If any bid found without earnest money, the bid shall be treated as “Non Responsive”.
  2. 3. Earnest money of 1st, 2nd and 3rd lowest bidders will be retained till the approval of tenders from competent authority-(HEC).
  3. 4. The contractor will have to produce valid Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) Registration certificate in original for the year 2017.
  4. 5. The Contractors/Bidders who quoted abnormally below rates, from Engineer Estimate , must submit remaining security in addition to 02% earnest money equal to 10% of the bid cost.
  5. 6. The contractor /firms shall quote their rates both in figure as well as in words.
  6. 7. Any tender with correction/overwriting will be rejected.
  7. 8. Incase of tie of quoted rates, the financial bids will be decided on FREE TOSS at spot on the date of opening of bids.
  8. 9. If the contractor/firm provided supplied incorrect information/documents, the defaulter shall be recommended to higher authority for disqualification and blacklisting.
  9. 10. The tender form shall reach to the undersign on or before closing date (may 3rd  , 2017 at 10:00 am sharp) through courier.
  10. 11. Tender notice can be seen in the office of the undersigned, NCEG website and PPRA website www.ppra.gov.pk.
  11. 12. The competent authority reserves the right to accept or reject any of the tender at any time prior to the acceptance of the tender as per PPRA rules # 33.
