61st Board of Governors Meeting for
Selection of Professors and Approval of F&PC Recommendations

VC UoP Prof. M. Naeem Qazi chaired the BoG meeting of NCE in Geology. Dr. Liaqat Ali (Director NCEG), Mr. Zulfiqar Ali Samin (Dy. Dir. Federal Ministry of Education and Professional Training, Prof. Abdul Rashid (VC Malakand University and nominee HEC), Dr. Shaheena Tariq (Ex-Chair person Earth Sciences COMSATS University), Dr. Ghazala Yasmin Malik Pakistan Science Foundation and Dr Suleman Khan, UoP participated in the meeting. During the meeting, three faculty members, Dr. Liaqat Ali, Dr. M. Hanif and Dr. Khalid Latif were promoted as professors, and Centre's F&PC recommendations were also approved. VC UoP Prof. M. Naeem Qazi stated that the appointment of these professors will be a great prospect for the bright future of the centre.
