Mr. Taimoor Ahmad completed his MS Research

Mr. Taimoor Ahmad MS Scholar has successfully defended his thesis titled “Use of remote sensing techniques for identification and mineralogical evaluation of marble sites in lower Chitral, Pakistan” under the supervision of Dr. Liaqat Ali and Dr. Muhammad Shafique.

His External Examiner was Dr. Laeiq Ahmad Assistant Professor, Department of Geology, University of Swabi

Research implications:
The study findings suggest that the incorporation of various image transformation methods has proven to be cost-effective and will benefit marble exploration sector in Chitral region.
