Mr. Waseem Shah completed his MS Research

Mr. Waseem Shah (M.S scholar, NCE in Geology, University of Peshawar) successfully defended his M.S thesis Titled “Sedimentology and hydrocarbon reservoir characterization of the Cretaceous Kawagarh Formation, Orakzai region, Pakistan” under the supervision of Dr. Khalid Latif (Assistant Professor at NCEG). His co-Supervisor was Dr. Syed Ali Turab (Assistant Professor at NCEG), and his external Examiner was Dr. Syed Irfanullah Hashmi (Senior Geologist, Oil and Gas Facilitation Unit, Energy and Power Department, Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa). Waseem Shah provided valuable insights into the Microfacies, Diagenesis and Reservoir characterization of the Kawagarh Formation.
This study has implication both for educational and industrial purpose. Future student will get help from the thesis. This research work will also provide significant data for the Petroleum Industry.

The NCEG community congratulates him and wishes him best of luck.
