Ms. Sarah Farooq Khan completed her MS Research

Ms. Sarah Farooq Khan successfully defended her MS thesis titled Geochemistry and Biosignature Investigations on the Lunar Meteorite Gadamis-003 on 29th March 2023. She was supervised by Dr. Khalid Latif, Assistant Professor, NCEG, and co-supervised by Dr. M. Qasim Jan, Professor Emeritus, NCEG. Her external examiner was Mr. Kamran Shehzad, Lecturer, Khushal Khan Khattak University, Karak.

Ms. Sarah Farooq Khan conducted her research on a lunar meteorite (moon rock sample), which is one of the earliest works on meteorites in the country. The research covers Moons geological and astrobiological aspects to set the stage for more groundbreaking works in the integrated areas of science.
