WALK-IN-INTERVIEW

Applications are invited for the following positions in the “GIS & Space Applications in Geosciences (G-SAG)” laboratory at the NCE in Geology, University of Peshawar under the HEC PC-1 approved project “Establishment of National Center of GIS and Space Applications (NCGSA)”. The positions are purely on a contract basis.

Terms and conditions

• Screening tests (MCQs) shall be arranged for each position on 18th January, 2022 at 10:30 am. Among the successful candidates, the top 5 candidates for each position, satisfying the specific requirements shall be called for scrutiny and final interview.
• The selected candidates are required to complete their Ph.D. in the relevant field at the NCEG under the supervision of the lab team. Preference shall be given to the existing Ph.D. students in NCEG.
• All the positions are purely on contract basis and will be renewed based on the performance till completion of the project.
• Preference will be given to the candidates having higher qualifications, MS/PGD in GIS/RS, experience and research publications.
• The age limit for the all the positions is 35 years.
• The same advertisement would be used until all the positions are filled.
• The positions are purely project based and the selected candidates would not have the right to be appointed permanently.
• The Lab Director reserve the right to reject/cancel any of the application.
