Applications are invited for the post of Research Associate under Research Project No. PSF-TUBITAK/EARTH/KP-UOP (08) sponsored by Pakistan Science Foundation, Islamabad. The candidates are required to possess M.Sc/B.S Degree in the field of Geology with specialization in sedimentology with at least two first divisions (one in M.Sc/BS) and no third division in the academic career, the candidate must be enrolled in MS/M.Phil/Ph.D programme. Preference will be given to a candidate who worked on marine sedimentary rocks. The selected candidate will be paid @ Rs. 20000/-p.m fixed if enrolled in MS/M.Phil, but if the candidate is enrolled in Ph.D. programme, he/she will be paid @ Rs. 25000/-p.m. fixed. However, the candidate will be required to sign a bond for the entire duration of project. Applications should be submitted on plain paper along with the required documents. Terms & Conditions:
- The above position is project based and not liable to extension on completion of the project.
- An amount of Rs.300/- must be deposited with Additional Director Finance of this Centre on or before the deadline.
- Application completed in all respects along with attested documents and one passport size photograph must reach to the Admin/Establishment office of the NCEG on or before deadline.
- There will be no financial liability on part of the Centre.
- The PI reserve the right to accept or reject any application without assigning any reason.
- Only short listed candidates will be called for Test/Interview.
- The selected candidate will sign a bond for entire duration of the project.
- No TA/DA will be admissible.
