DONATION OF ACADEMIC LICENCE OF STRUCTURE SOLVER

The NCE in Geology’s “Petroleum Geology Group” (Drs. Irfan Ullah Jan, Muhammad Hanif and Sohail Wahid) is pleased to share that the NCE in Geology has been donated an Academic Version of Structure Solver, which has very important use in the practical structural geology interpretation.

The Petroleum Geology Group and NCE in Geology extend their heartiest thanks to the support of the Orient Petroleum Limited, Pakistan and its Senior Vice President Exploration (Prof. Stuart Donald Burley) for their support extended in acquiring the Structure Solver from the Company.

The acquisition of the software will make it possible for researchers and students of the NCE in Geology to gain hands on experience with state-of- the-art structural geology software packages that are widely used throughout the hydrocarbon industry and academic research.
