Visit of the Ambassador of the Republic of Belarus to NCE in Geology

The Ambassador of the Republic of Belarus, Dr. Andrei G. Ermolovich, visited the National Centre of Excellence in Geology, University of Peshawar, Pakistan. His visit was part of the Agreement on Cooperation signed between the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environmental Protection of Republic of Belarus and the National Centre of Excellence in Geology, University of Peshawar.  He was warmly welcomed by the Director, Prof. Dr. M. Tahir Shah, and faculty members of the Centre. During the meeting, the various matters of mutual interest, especially exchange of scientific expertise and arranging of joint workshops and conferences were discussed.  The Ambassador was given a visit of the laboratories of the National Centre of Excellence in Geology, University of Peshawar. He was impressed with the facilities available at the Centre for the advanced level research in the field of Earth Sciences and hoped that both the organizations under the said agreement will further strengthen their ties in the teaching and research. The ambassador thanked the Director and faculty members of the Centre and extended invitation to the Director to visit Republic of Belarus to further strengthen the cooperation. At the end, the Director presented a shield of the Centre as a token of goodwill to the ambassador.
