Research Fellowship

Applications from Enrolled Students at NCEG are required for MS/MPhl Research Fellowship under the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) and International Center for Agricultural Research in Dry Areas (ICARDA) supported project titled ““Improving Soil Fertility and Soil Health in Pakistan through Demonstration and dissemination of the best practices for the community”.

Eligibility Criteria:

• Applicants enrolled in Environmental Geosciences program shall be given preference (others may apply).
• The applicants shall exhibit good academic credentials.
• Applicants who have completed their course work shall be preferred.
• Applicants shall have good knowledge of soil conservation principles.

Terms of Reference

• The selected candidates shall be hired on contract basis with a fixed pay. The continuation of his/her term shall be subject to the evaluation of his/her performance.
• The selected candidate shall be able to leave for field assignments on short notices. All the field work shall be carried out in Dera Ismail Khan.
• The applicant along with his MPhl studies shall also perform other assignments pertaining to the project objectives.
