NCEG Scientist wins award for “Most Cited Article from 2005-2010” by Elsevier Sciences
Dr. Muhammad Sayab, Assistant Professor at the National Centre of Excellence in Geology, University of Peshawar earned the distinction of having his research paper published in the Journal of Structural Geology (2005) declared by Elsevier Sciences as the most cited article for the journal from 2005 to 2010. Dr. Muhammad Sayab obtained his PhD from the James Cook University, Australia in 2005. He obtained U.S. Fulbright Post-doctoral Scholar Award in 2008-09 and Australian Endeavour Research Fellowship in 2011. Dr. Sayab is amongst the most productive scientists at the National Centre of Excellence in Geology as evaluated by the Pakistan Council of Scientific Research. He is the youngest earth scientist in the country earning Earth Scientist of the Year Award & Gold Medal from the Pakistan Academy of Sciences 2009. |
