Mr. Abdul Rahim Asif, PhD Scholar at the National Centre of Excellence in Geology, successfully defended his PhD thesis under the supervision of Dr. Muhammad Sajid, Assistant Professor, Department of Geology, University of Peshawar, and the co-supervision of Dr. Waqas Ahmed, Associate Professor at the National Centre of Excellence in Geology.
His project, titled “Geotechnical and Mineralogical Assessment of Granitic Rocks from Northwestern Regions of Pakistan,” successfully linked applied geology tools and observations with the construction industry. He has published the project outcomes in reputable international journals and presented them at multiple national conferences.
