"Geochemical and geophysical
investigations of coal deposits of the Hangu Formation, Western Khyber
Pakhtunkhwa, Pakistan."

Mr. Mohibullah successfully defended his Ph.D research work under the Supervision of Dr. Liaqat Ali, Director of NCE in Geology, UOP, Peshawar and Co Supervision of Dr. Sarfraz Khan.

His thesis was evaluated by the professors to two foreign universities of Japan and China as well as Associate Professor Dr. Mumtaz Shah Department of Geology, Quaid-e-Azam University, Islamabad, who considered the work as pioneer towards development of coal deposits in the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. The study was focused on exploration of coal in Dara Adam Khel, Khyber and Aurakzai areas and come with great contributions to local prospectors and miners in the region. Dr. Mohibullah Khan has published two national / international articles from his thesis and some more are in pipeline.
