MOU Signed between NCEG and HDIP for mutual cooperation in promoting scientific research

It is great to announce that the National Centre of Excellence in Geology and the Hydrocarbon Development Institute of Pakistan (HDIP) have agreed to collaborate in promoting scientific research in the field of hydrocarbon exploration and development. For that reason, a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) was successfully signed in a ceremony held on Friday 11th February 2022 at HDIP office at Islamabad with strict compliance to CoVID 19 SOPs. 
The Memorandum of Understanding sets for the terms and understanding between the HDIP and NCEG to carry out the following:

1. To provide and access to scientific instrumentation available at both prestigious institutes.
2. To jointly supervise graduate students on research projects of mutual interest, and provide training to the relevant faculty/staff and MS and PhD stage students along with mentorship in dissertations and projects.
3. To carry out joint workshops, seminars, and symposia as needed to improve the collaboration on particular research themes.
4. To arrange exchange visits of professionals for the purpose of collaboration on research projects and other activities.
