Course contents: Introduction water cycle, Remote sensing of evapotranspiration, precipitation, infiltration and runoff, Rain water and Atmospheric chemistry, introduction to ground water, Geology of groundwater occurrence, ground water exploration (Remote Sensing and geophysical approaches) soil water and groundwater: weathering, Aquifer and its types and characteristics, Theory of groundwater flow, Future challenges in soil retrieval and applications.
