Global Tectonics: Overview of plate tectonics, crustal evolution through i) juvenile arc growth, ii) plate accretion, and history of global plate tectonics through time.
Tectonics of Central Asia: Accretion tectonics in Central Asia, extrusive tectonics, tectonics of individual microplates such as Eurasia, Pamirs, Karakoram, Afghan block, Tibet, Kunlun, Kohistan-Ladakh and India.
Tectonics of North Pakistan: Accretion of Karakoram, Kohistan and India, tectonics of Karakoram-Hindukush plate- i) basement, ii) sedimentary prism, iii) magmatism, iv) deformation and metamorphism.
Tectonics of Kohistan-Deosai arc i) stratigraphy, ii) magmatism, iii) deformation and metamorphism, iv) tectonic evolution of northern and Indus suture zones, tectonics of Indian plate- classification of Indian plate into an external and internal zone, synthesis of the tectonic evolution of northern Pakistan.
