- Currently working as Associate Professor of Mineral Exploration in the NCE Geology
- Worked as Director General in the Directorate General of Mines and Minerals, Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa w.e.f 21.07.2014 to 20.07.2015.
- Worked as Assistant Professor (from 16th December, 2011 to present) at the NCE in Geology,
University of Peshawar and involved in post-graduate level teaching and research. - Worked as Research Associate / Lecturer at the National Centre of Excellence (NCE) in Geology,
University of Peshawar from 11.03.2002 to 20.07.2014.

- Post Doctorate (2013) under Commonwealth Fellowship from University of Leeds UK
- PhD (2008 - 2011) from the Camborne School of Mines, University of Exeter – Cornwall Campus Penryn, UK
